No problem. For your first pickup, you can use your own laundry bag, hamper, or securely closed bag. Clearly label it with your name, residence hall, and “Get Fresh Start Laundry.” We'll return your first order with your Fresh Start laundry kit to use for future pickups.

Everyday wash & fold laundry is typically returned the next business day. Monday through Thursday pickups are generally returned the following business day, while Friday pickups are returned Monday.

Dry cleaning should be kept separate from your regular wash & fold laundry and has a longer turnaround time than everyday wash & fold service.

Keep garments requiring special care separate from your regular wash & fold laundry. Items labeled Dry Clean Only, Hand Wash Only, Do Not Tumble Dry, or with other special care instructions should be placed in your Dry Cleaning & Special Care bag.

Our regular wash & fold service is designed for everyday machine-washable clothing, while the Special Care process allows our team to give individual garments more detailed attention.

Yes. Our regular service has a $42 minimum order, which includes pickup and delivery. You don't need to send a certain number of bags—the minimum simply applies to the total order.

We recommend using the parent’s email address so you can easily receive and review payments, while using the student’s phone number so they receive pickup and delivery text updates and can be contacted if needed.

Just be sure to include the student’s name and correct Fairfield University residence hall information on the account so we know exactly where to pick up and return their laundry.
